The December Re:Fuel is now less than two weeks away on 15th December, so we thought we’d give you a taster of what’s in store. We’ll be back at the fantastic Mansell Raceway again, with an enormous empty paddock waiting to open the gates at 9am and house all of your wonderful vehicles. For anyone that hasn’t been before – we’re open to the public, you don’t have to pre-book, and you can turn up in absolutely anything you like from Transit van to Lamborghini – as long as you’re an enthusiast, you’re welcome – and we know you’ll love Re:Fuel!
Re:Fuel visitors will once again be able to lounge around in the new multi-million £ facilities at Mansell Raceway, including the 1st floor complex that houses a restaurant, comfy seating and an elevated indoor view of the outdoor karting track.
There will be a great selection of hot and cold drinks on offer…- The Mansell Raceway in-house chef will be cooking up their sought-after Full English Breakfasts and be serving both hot and cold drinks.
- The Fat Pony will be serving their delicious hand-made burgers and dirty fries.
- Lemon Jelli will have their absolutely fabulous waffles, crepes and hot drinks on offer.
Also – and this is absolutely optional – there’s a Christmas fancy dress competition. There will be:
- a prize for best dressed vehicle, and
- a prize for best dressed Re:Fueler.
Finally, the biggest news of all!!…
That’s right kids (and big kids) – SANTA IS COMING TO RE:FUEL – and we have it on good authority that it’s the real one from the North Pole. So… been dreaming of those new throttle bodies, a 488 Pista, or some new leather seats for that mk1 Golf you’ve been restoring…. this is your chance to have a word in Santa’s ear and check you’re not on the naughty list! Pop into the Re:Fuel Christmas Grotto, in partnership with Vospers Alfa Romeo.
There will be a couple of special cars on display inside Santa’s grotto, and we’ll even be treated to some Christmas tunes from the fantastic La La Choirs.
You’ll find us just 10 minutes from Honiton, east of Exeter. The postcode is EX14 4AH – and there will be some signs to keep your eyes open for once you’ve driven past the entrance to the airfield (do not turn into the airfield!).
As with all our open days, admission starts at 9am and we close at 5pm. Last admission is 4.30pm.
It’s £5 per vehicle (not per person), and that gets you a funky piece of Re:Fuel merch – a special Christmas edition this time! Of course, as always, if you’re not bothered about keeping it, once inside the venue you can choose to exchange it to get your first drink free!
