October Location

Re:Fuel is relocating for our October Open Day on Sunday 20th to the fantastic Mansell Raceway. We will have, as usual, an enormous paddock (but this time hard-standing!) to house all the wonderful vehicles of our visitors, with great access (no ramps), in a fantastic setting.

The sad news is that we won’t be able to have our usual food and drink partners with us (they’ll be back with us in November don’t worry!) but the good news is that food and drink will still be available.

Re:Fuel visitors will be able to lounge around in the new multi-million £ facilities at Mansell Raceway, including a the 1st floor complex that houses a restaurant, comfy seating and an elevated indoor view of the outdoor karting track.

There will be a great selection of hot and cold drinks on offer and the Mansell Raceway in-house chef will be cooking up a storm including Full English Breakfasts, Burgers, Vegan Burgers, Pizzas, Paninis, Chips, Waffles, Crepes and more. We’re feeling hungry just writing this!

…and yes! The karting will be open for Re:Fuel visitors to get on the track and race! It’ll be available on a first come, first served basis. So make sure you visit the reception desk early in the day on Sunday if you plan to book some track time.

If being on the racetrack isn’t your thing then you can sit in comfort in the 1st floor restaurant seating area and watch the action from there.

We made this decision to give the field at Froginwell a break and prevent it from becoming damaged. All going to plan, we will be back at Froginwell in November.

You’ll find us just a 10 minutes from Honiton, east of Exeter. The postcode is EX14 4AH – and there will be some signs to keep your eyes open for once you’ve driven past the entrance to the airfield (do not turn into the airfield!).

As with all our open days, admission starts at 9am and we close at 5pm. Last admission is 4.30pm.

It’s £5 per vehicle (not per person), and that gets you a Re:Fuel branded metal card – we started giving these out at the gate last month and there are only 500 of them. Worth keeping hold of, because those in possession of these Re:Fuel cards will get special treatment later on as Re:Fuel grows! Of course, as always, if you’re not bothered about the keeping it, once inside the venue you can choose to exchange it to get your first drink free!
